Many sources list birth as 11/10/1760 in Germany, however this headstone indicates a date of death and age, which calculate to a 9/11/1769 date at which time the family was already in Pennsylvania..In addition a search of the church records at Hundsbach, Germany find his parents listed with two children 1 older and 1 younger but no Adam. therefore I have opted for the calculated birth date in my records.

This headstone was originally placed in the Family cemetery on the family farm known as the Bartholomew Family Cemetery, however that Cemetery has been destroyed......This headstone was found and relocated here to Dunnstown....See memorial 157415151 for a memorial in the now lost Bartholomew Family Cemetery
