Arthur Iver Anderson, 88, of Rockford died April 25, 2003 in Rockford. Born June 30, 1914, in Illinois. Son of Carl and Augusta (Johansson) Anderson. Married the former Mildred Acardo. He served in the U.S. Army during World War 11 in a music division.
Arthur was employed as an inspector for Sundstrand Aviation for 26 years. He had also been a music teacher of the organ and the accordion. He was a member of the Land of Lincoln Organ Society and the photo club and accordion club. He enjoyed doing pencil sketches.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred of Rockford; daughter, Karen Anderson of Rockford; sisters, Elsie Rawling of San Dems, Calif.; and sisters-in-law, June Anderson, Reba Acardo and Paula Day, all of Rockford.
