She was born June 14, 1954, in Charles City, Iowa, the daughter of Ellis B. and Earleen F. Sells Smith. She married Jeff Kerr in Auburn in 1977. Mrs. Kerr was a program analyst for the state, having previously worked for St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Mo., Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Mo., and Cessna Aircraft, Wichita, Kan. She was active with and coached youth soccer.
Survivors: husband, Jeff; a son, Sean Kerr at home; a daughter, Teresa Kerr at home; father, Ellis B. Smith of Mason City; three brothers, David Smith of Auburn, Steven Smith of Hanna City and Kevin Smith of Springfield; three sisters, Cheryl Seiser of Webster City, Iowa, Maureen Jackson of Springfield and Teresa Smith-Browning of Roseville, Calif.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn, the Rev. Ted Harvey officiating. Burial: Auburn Cemetery.
