Gloria was born in Fitzwilliam, on May 15, 1941 daughter of the late Howard E. and Rita Y. (Prive) Chase, and lived in Fitzwilliam most of her life. She married her beloved husband Reginald L. Pelkey on December 17, 1960, and together they shared over 49 years of marriage
Gloria worked for Monadnock Lifetime Products as a receptionist for 25 years. She was a member of the VFW Post 10289 Ladies Auxiliary of Fitzwilliam. Gloria loved her garden, she enjoyed taking care of it, as well as watching birds in her back yard. She especially enjoyed when cardinals would visit. She was a talented quilter and crocheter. As a hobby Gloria would decorate cakes, she could form the most beautiful roses with her home made icing. She loved dancing and classic cars. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She cherished each and every moment she spent with all of them.
Besides her husband Reginald, Gloria will be sadly missed by 3 sons; Timothy L. Pelkey and his wife Lisa of Fitzwilliam, Gary L. Pelkey and his wife Marie of Rindge, NH, Daniel E. Pelkey of Attleboro, MA, two brothers; Howard E. Chase Jr. of Fitzwilliam, NH, and Ronald L. Chase of Ftizwilliam, NH, one sisters; Marjorie A. Pelkey of Troy, NH, 5 grandchildren; Daniel E. Pelkey Jr. of Attleboro, MA, Angela Pelkey of Attleboro, MA Amanda Pelkey of Seekonk, MA, Jeffrey O. Pelkey of Fitzwilliam, and Sara Y.
