Dies at His Work

‎ ‎ ‎ NAMPA—The body of Thomas Edward Bird, 56, farmer residing a mile east of Bowmont, was found at 10:30 a. m. Friday in a field on his farm where he had gone at 8 0'clock to corrugate. A heart attack was believed cause of death, V. K. Jeppesen, acting coroner, said Friday.
‎ ‎ ‎ Bird had complete part of the corrugating before he was stricken, officers said. The team he had been driving stopped and remained standing after Bird fell off the corrugator, as the body was lying just at the rear of the j machine.
‎ ‎ ‎ The body is at the Talley funeral home. Funeral arrangements had not been completed Friday night.
‎ ‎ ‎ Mr. Bird had been a resident of Bowmont vicinity for the past 14 years and of Canyon county 20 years.
‎ ‎ ‎ Surviving are his wife, Emily; a daughter, Mrs. Nathelle Harris of INampa; two sons, Ories Bird of Nampa and Ronald Bird of Bowmont; eight brothers and sisters, one of whom, Mrs. Thelma White, resides at Nampa.
