Ferrell was a member of VFW Post 1079 and the United Polish Club, both in Elyria. He enjoyed music and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Lesta; daughters LaDonna Barnhart of Lodi, Phillis Hamric of Depew, N.Y., and Janette Rofe of Elyria; a son, Gary of LaGrange; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene, and sisters Gale, Vera and Winnie.
