William LICHTENWALD, 55, whose home was at 1411 Logan street, died Monday at Bellevue hospital. The son of William and Margrete LICHTENWALD, he was born Oct. 20, 1896, in a German village in Russia. He had resided in Muscatine for the past 26 years and was a member of the Zion Lutheran church. His marriage to Eva FRANK took place Dec. 5, 1915, at Windsor, Colo.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Henry and Albert, both of Muscatine; two brothers, Jacob, of Arkansas, and Henry, of Muscatine; two sisters, Mrs. Ed CHISAM of Chelsa (as spelled in the article), Okla., and Mrs. Henry BECKTHOLDT of Fort Collins, Colo.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter.

The body was taken to the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home, where rites are pending.

Funeral services for William LICHTENWALD, will be held Thursday at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held this afternoon from the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Hoe for William LICHTENWALD. The Rev. Hartwig Harms, pastor of Zion Lutheran church, was in charge.

Flower attendants included Mrs. Arnold Pulliam, Mrs. Albert Weeks, Miss Doris Weeks and Miss Sally LICHTENWALD. Serving as Pallbearers were Carl LICHTENWALD, Arnold Pulliam, Albert Weeks, Roy Johnson, Adolph Klatt and Henry Owens.

Interment was in Greenwood cemetery.
