ELYRIA — Albert Emil Greiner Sr., age 67, of Elyria, passed away Friday, April 9, 2010 at EMH Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born September 20, 1942 in Lorain, OH and was raised in Rochester Township. Albert graduated from Wellington High School in 1961.

He was employed by Ford Motor Co. Ohio Truck Plant in Avon Lake, OH as a supervisor with 32 years of service. He furthered his education at LCCC and obtained a business degree in conjunction with his management position with Ford. He enjoyed fishing and camping, baseball and softball, farming and working outdoors, and family times spent together.

He is survived by his former wife, Shirley A. Greiner (nee Matthews), children Albert E. Greiner, Jr of Elyria; Donna M. Greiner of Elyria; Michael A. Greiner of Elyria and Catherine Eisermann (husband, Phillip) of Wilmington, OH; 6 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; three brothers David Kean of Lorain County; Tommy Kean of Cuyahoga County and James Kean, of Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Christine Greiner, a brother Johnny Greiner, a sister Miriam Cotter, parents Albert L. Greiner and Mildred Kean and step-father, James Kean.

Funeral services will be at the Funeral Home Tuesday, April 13 at 10:30 am. Rev. Chuck Keesee, Pastor of Midway Baptist Church in Elyria, will officiate. Burial will be at Camden Cemetery in Camden Township, OH. Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street in Elyria from 1-3 and 5-8 pm Monday.
