Roscoe B. Thomson, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Thomson, died at Union, Oregon, September 22nd at the family residence at 10 o'clock p.m. Roscoe had been ill for about three weeks with typhoid fever. The attack has been a malignant one and from the very outset the disease baffled the skill of the physicians and the case was a hopeless one. The young man was born and raised in this city and was loved and respected by all who knew him. His death will cause many a heart ache for his sorrowing father, mother and sister, which time itself will be hardly able to heal. The Remains will be laid to rest at 2 p.m., Saturday, the 24th. The sympathies of our people will be with the bereaved parents in their great affliction.
