Marcus Homer Holloway Sr. 54 of Shreveport, LA passed away Friday, April 9, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 4 pm Monday, April 12, 2010 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, LA officiated by Bishop Sammy Maranto. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Sunday the 11th from 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Marcus was born September 19, 1955 in Vivian, LA and lived most of his life in Shreveport. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He worked as a truck driver for most of his life. He loved to fish and hunt and he loved to garden. Most of all he loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Holloway of Shreveport, LA, his seven children; Melissa Holloway, Tiffany Reed, Jeannie Perry, Geralyn Gramm, Mhonda Tanner, Marcus Holloway Jr. and Dustin Holloway, his sisters; Becky Crawford, Norma Flanagan and Sue Beene, his brothers Joe Holloway, James Weems and Ronnie Patrick, 12 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mark Holloway Jr., Dustin Holloway, Mark Allen, Brad Gentry, Chad Baker, Donald Klick, Earl Manning and Doyle Daughtery.
