Helen Read (nee Noga) 93, of Muskogee, Okla. formerly of Elyria, died Thursday; Nov. 11, 2004, in Muskogee following a long illness.
Born in Duquesene, PA. she resided in Elyria most of her life.
She was employed as a machine operator at General Industries in Elyria for 22 years, retiring in 1970.
Mrs. Read was a former member of Lake Avenue United Church of Christ of Elyria. She enjoyed traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll C. Read Sr. in 1969; a daughter, Mary Lou (Read) Kibbee; her parents Carl and Helen Noga; sisters Ann Burrows and Mary Noga; brothers Frank and Joseph Noga.
There will be no visitation.
Private services wil be 1 p.m. Friday at Bauer-Laubenthal Funeral Home, Chestnut Ridge Road and State Route 57, Elyria.
The Rev. Bob Gross, Pastor, Lake Avenue United Church of Christ will officiate.
Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Carlisle Township.
