Alice Mae Overacker, 66, RR 1, Columbia Cross Roads, died Wednesday, April 17, 1991 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. She was born in Wilkes-Barre June 18, 1924, the daughter of the late Harry and Charlotte Uplinger Lavelle. Mrs. Overacker was a housewife for her late husband, Elmer Overacker, who died in 1977 and for their family. She is survived by sons, Gerald Parkhurst of Meshoppen, Frank Wilk of Berwick and J. Robert Overacker of Columbia Cross Roads; daughters, Mrs. Howard (Charlotte) Oliver of Columbia Cross Roads and Mrs. Jim (Yvonne) Chilson of Sayre; brother, Harry Lavelle, Montana and sister, Mrs. Donald (Violet) Popick, Meshoppen; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Ralph Parkhurst. Funeral services were held April 20 at the Sheldon Funeral Home in Laceyville with Pastor Tom Hawkins of the North Waverly Chapel officiating and interment to be in the North Flat Cemetery, Laceyville.
