Barbara Ann Rhiel was born Barbara Ann Heagren. Her biological parents were Robert Leland Heagren and Goldie Marie Kent. In the early 1950's she and her brother Bill and sister Rita was taken to the Richland County Children's Home in Mansfield Ohio where they was adopted out to 2 different families.
Barbara Ann was adopted by Dr James Ivan Rhiel M.D and his wife Priscilla C Rhiel. They are both buried in this same cemetery not far from Barbara.
Bill and Rita was adopted by Arnold William & Dorothy Myrtle (née Vose) Egerland.
They had one older sister, Betty Jean Heagren. She was the oldest and she was sent to live with her great grandmother to help her at home.
