OBITUARY - Pharos-Tribune, Logansport (IN) - February 15, 1963
Peru--Mrs. Margaret A. Bennett, 83, a former resident of Peru, died in the Howard County Hospital at 6:04 a.m. Friday following an illness of one year. She had been making her home with a daughter in Kokomo, Mrs. Dallas Umbarger.
Born May 17, 1879 in Speicherville, Ind. she was the daughter of Jesse and Matilda (Abbott) Levsay. She was first married in 1896 to Frank Rozell and he died in 1930. In 1934 she was married to Charles Bennett and he died in 1941.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Rozell, LaFontaine, and Dewey Rozell, Danville, Ill.; three daughters, Mrs. Umbarger, Mrs. O. Baer, Kokomo and Mrs. William Copeland, Peru; two brothers, two sisters, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Drake-Flowers Funeral Home in Peru. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery at Wabash. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Sunday.
