Mabel E. Starner, 93, of 325 Starner Station Road, Gardners, died Wednesday morning, Sept. 18, at Forest Park Nursing Home in Carlisle.
Her first husband, Clarence Brenizer died in 1954. She was the wife of S. Grover Starner to whom she was married for 33 years.
Born Dec. 27, 1897, in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late David H. and Ellen C. Shughart Brownawell.
She was a member of Mount Tabor United Methodist Church in Gardners.
She is survived by one daughter, Evelyn M. Wilson of Tabbs, Va.; one son, Clarence A. Brenizer of Carlisle; one stepson, Cornelius S. Starner of York Springs; 23 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 .m. Tuesday from the Dugan Funeral Home, 111 S. Main St., Bendersville, with the Rev. G. Franklin Gray officiating. Interment will be in Trindle Springs Cemetery in Mechanicsburg.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
