HOLLENBACK SERVICES
MIAMI, Ind. -- Services for Richard Lee Hollenback, 64, Miami, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Allen Funeral Home. Bunker Hill, with the Rev. Martin Haeger officiating. A military service will be performed by the James Reese Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1122 of which he was a member.
He was born in Erie Township of Miami County April 14, 1918, a son of Oscar L. and Grace (Howard) Hollenback. July 14, 1945, he married Rosetta Benting, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jeffrey Hollenback, Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and Terry Hollenback, Miami; three daughters, Sherrell McDaniels and Michelle Hollenback, both of Miami, and Ronna Black, Peru; two brothers, Glenn and Jack Hollenback both of Bunker Hill; two sisters, Jean Payton, Paoli and Marjorie Dean Stewart, Tipton, and four grandchildren. Two sisters preceded him in death.
Hollenback lived in Miami for 13 years. He worked for a trucking company for many years. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery, Bunker Hill.

He is survived by his mother, Grace (Howard) Hollenback of Bunker Hill and four brothers, William Hollenback and Jack Hollenback, both of Bunker Hill, Glenn Hollenback of Sharpsville and Ruben Hollenback of Amboy R.R.1.
