Margaret V. Gauna, 81, of Pueblo, passed away Oct. 7, 2002. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Gauna; parents; three brothers; and one son-in-law. She is survived by her sons, Robert Gauna and Paul (Charlene) Gauna; daughters, Gloria (George) Hjelm, Alice (Paul) Tapia, Frances Duran, Patricia (Joe) Trujillo and Pauline Gauna; brothers, Eliseo (Lucy) and Louie (Mary) Vigil; sisters, Melior Vigil, Martha Taurfelli, Amy (Manuel) Lucero, Prudie Medina and Helen (Johnny) Shiner; 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; also special friend and caregiver, Ricca Hoke. Margaret loved her family and grandchildren very much and was a good cook and seamstress. Viewing will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today and 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Romero Chapel. Scripture reading, 7 p.m. Thursday, also at Romero Chapel. Funeral Mass, 7 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Church. Interment in Springer, N.M., on Saturday.
