GREER, SC - Joseph H. "Pete" Masters, 86, formerly of Carolina Avenue, widower of Alice Runion Masters, died June 14, 2002.
Son of the late John Wesley and Willie Lou Hilburn Masters, he was a retired employee of J. P. Stevens, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are a son, David Masters of Greer; and a brother, J. D. Masters of Greer.
Visitation: 3 to 4 p.m. Monday at The Wood Mortuary, followed by service at 4 p.m. in the mortuary chapel. Burial: Wood Memorial Park. Omit flowers. Memorials: Mobile Meals, 738 South Line Street Extension, Greer, SC 29651.
