ROBERT E. HAMILTON, 43

Robert E. Hamilton, 43, died Tuesday morning at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Hamilton, R.R.2, Greensburg, was born Feb. 5, 1942, in Indianapolis, the son of Raymon and Elizabeth Titus Hamilton. He had worked for Crown-Zellerbach the last 10 years, and prior to that was employed for many years at the Greensburg Wrecking Yard for Myer Schreiber.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greensburg, and was Scout Master of Troop 576 of the Baptist Church until a year ago. He also belonged to the Indiana Sheriff's Association and served the Decatur County Red Cross.

He was married to Janet Troxel Aug. 20, 1961, in Greensburg, and she survives, with two sons: Robert Chris and David Eugene Hamilton; two daughters: Mrs. Edward (Susan Lynn) Settle, North Franklin St., and Mrs. Victoria Jane Thompson, Louisville, Ky.; his mother, Mrs. Raymon (Susie) Hamilton, Lake Station; four sisters: Mrs. Jennie Heath, and Mrs. Bill (Carol) Rucker, both of Porter, and Mrs. Charles (Ruth) Adams and Ms. Mary Hamilton, both of Lake Station; and several nieces and nephews.

The services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Charles Baxter officiating, and with burial in the South Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday.
