Funeral for Thomas Filmore Hunter, 63, of 1015 8th Avenue S.W., was to be today at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Randy VanLandingham and the Rev. Jack Kay officiating.
Burial was to be in Roselawn Cemetery with Brown Service directing.
Mr. Hunter died Saturday at Decatur General Hospital. He was a retired salesman for Roy Payne Toyota.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Clark Hunter of Decatur; one son, Thomas Filmore Hunter, Jr. of Austin, Tex.; two daughters, Regina Simmons of Decatur and Katrina Hunter of Austin; four sisters, Sarah Hunter Terry and Mary Hunter Rister of Decatur, Lady Ruth Bulter of Huntsville and Mildred Hunter Kay of Lacey's Spring; two brothers, W.C. Hunter, Jr. of Greenville, S.C. and Oran B. Hunter of Decatur; two grandchildren.
