A well-known 102 year-old Warren farmer, Eli Keller, died at 10:10 a.m. yesterday at the Roanoke Nursing Home.

A self-employed farmer, carpenter and millwright, Keller lived most his life in the Warren neighborhood. His farm was three miles north of town, just off State Route 2.

He had been living at the Roanoke Nursing Home since July 1. He was a member of the Congregational Christian Church and the IOOF Lodge in Warren.

His wife, Ida Stuart, died in 1923, and a son and a daughter, both of Warren also preceded him in death.

Surviving are another son, Howard Keller, with whom he had resided for over two years before entering the nursing home; a daughter, Mrs. Ola Bailey, Warren; 17 grandchildren: 26 great-grandchildren: four step-great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Grogg Funeral Home in Warren, Rev. George Millard officiating. Burial will be there in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
