Mr. Wade Hampton Bass, 56, of 810 Smith St., died suddenly early yesterday. Known as "Hamp" to his relatives and friends in this section, he was a native of Osceola County. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Fannie Bass of Kissimmee; a son, Joseph Bass of Kissimmee; four daughters, Mrs. Clyde Story and Miss Helen Bass, both of Kissimmee; Mrs. Samuel Driggers of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Herman G. Galloway of Corpus Christi, Tex.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe E. Bass of Kissimmee; three brothers, Gordon Bass of Penney Farms, Barney Bass of Ft. Meade, and Hobson Bass of Kissimmee; and three sisters, Mrs. D. Pippin of Frostproof, and Mrs. Edith Hunter and Mrs. Carl Rudd, both of Kissimmee.
