Sam Harvell Evans, age 71, Campbellsburg, died at Tri County Hospital, LaGrange on Monday, October 191992. He was born in Delrose, Tennessee, was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Campbellsburg Baptist Church, a member of the Henry Masonic Lodge #249, and worked 31 years at Teledyne Tool, Carrollton, as foreman.
He is survived by his wife, LaVerne Stockdale Evans, Campbellsburg; one son, Larry Harvell Evans, Campbellsburg; two daughters: Connie Albergo, Louisville, and Betty Evans, Albuquerque, New Mexico; four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2pm Thursday, October 33 at the Campbellsburg Baptist Church. Visitation is at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg. Burial will be in the Bedford IOOF Cemetery.
