Michele was born February 28, 1980, in York, the beloved daughter of William B. and Pamela A. (Mummert), Leiphart both of York.
She had worked at the Card Factory in the West Manchester Mall, Pfalzgraft, and Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehab Center. She attended West York, Spring Grove and Dover school districts; was a member of the Teamsters Local # 776 and enjoyed spending time with her family and collecting angels.
Michele is survived by her husband, with whom she celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary on August 25, 2009; children, parents; maternal grandmother, Nancy Mummert of Spring Grove; paternal grandmother, Bertine Leiphart of Red Lion; was loved like a daughter by her parents-in-law, Lance W. Howard of York and Lori A. Kunkle of Spry; two sisters-in-law, Adair L. Howard and Ariel A. Howard, both of York; a brother-in-law, Jesse W. Howard III of Spry; as well as aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandfathers, Moses Mummert and George Leiphart.
Burial will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
