Minnie E. Pride Dicus, 82, of Olney, died at 5:14 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2006, at Richland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney, with Rev. John Spears officiating. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Dicus was born on August 15, 1923, in Richland County, the daughter of Noah and Mabel (VanMatre) Thomas.

She married Everett Wayne Pride on December 7, 1954.
He preceded her in death on November 27, 1997.

She married Charles Dicus on October 20, 1999. He survives.

She was a homemaker and a member of Olney Church of God and American Legion Auxiliary.

Mrs. Dicus is survived by her husband, Charles Dicus of Olney; daughter, Mabel Jane Cannon and her husband, Wesley of Olney; two sons, Wesley Ellis Pride and his wife, Connie of Olney, and Wayne E. Pride and his wife, Dawn of South Roxanna; two stepchildren; one brother, Melvin Thomas of Olney; 11 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband; two sisters; three brothers; and daughter, Diane Ellen.
