RITES SET FOR MRS. COLLIER -
Mrs. Minnie Harris Collier, aged 62 years, who died Friday at noon in Anniston,
will be laid to rest here Sunday.

Mrs. Collier passed away at the home of a daughter, Mrs. S.E. Jacobs, with whom
she was making her home temporarily. Mrs. Collier was the widow of the late
Thomas Collier who preceded her to the grave 25 years ago at their home in
Russellville, Ky. Following his death Mrs. Collier and family removed to Decatur
where she has made her home since.

The deceased was a member of the Central Baptist Church.

She is survived by four sons, H.R. and B.F. Collier of Decatur; Felix Collier of
Nashville, and Roy Collier of Vinemont; one daughter, Mrs. Jacobs; her mother,
Mrs. Mary E. Hodges; three sisters, Mrs. J.A. Black, Miss Willie Hodges and Miss
Nina Hodges, all of Decatur; one brother, Johnny Hodges, of Decatur; 14
grandchildren.

The body will arrive here on Louisville and Nashville train number four tonight
and will be conveyed to the residence of the decease's mother, 322 East Moulton
Street.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at two o'clock by Rev. I.W.
Myers and Rev. H. Britton and interment will follow at City Cemetery. The
funeral cortege will leave the residence at 1:40 o'clock.
Members of the T.E.L. Class will handle the flowers.

Pallbearers will be: Turner Eaves, Bennett Cox, Dillard Claridy, Dan Kirkland,
J.R. Gibson and Jimmy Williams.
