Killed at 'Battle of Savage's Station' VA.
(D Co. 5th Inf. Reg VT Vol.) mass burial, after the battle. After the South surrendered the bodies were moved to Seven Pines Nat Cem. NO MARKERS. This info from U.S. Parks Dept, Visitors Info. Bureau, Richmond VaEnlisted in the Civil War Sept 16, 1861 and died of wounds in the Battle of Savage Station at age 24. The Battle of Savage's Station took place on June 29, 1862, in Henrico County, Virginia, as fourth of the Seven Days Battles (Peninsula Campaign).
