Lawrence Robertson
Funeral services were held yesterday for Lawrence Gaylord Robertson, 10, of Riviera who was dead on arrival at Kleberg County Hospital at 1:20 p.m. Sunday. He had fallen off the back of a truck.
Rosary was recited Monday night and a funeral mass was held at Our Lady of Consolation Church in Vattman Tuesday. Funeral arrangements were held by Piper Funeral Home. Burial was in Vattman Cemetery.
He was a fifth grader in Riviera Elementary School and had lived in Riviera all of his life.
He is survived by his parents, "Pud" (Johnnie Othell)and Mary Christine Robertson; six brothers: Johnny Lee of Ricardo, Tom Robertson of Kingsville, Bruce, Michael, Willie and Tim of Riviera.
Others (sic) survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Verna Harvey, Connie Robertson both of Kingsville and Rita Robertson of Riviera.
