Mrs. John W. Catron of Danville died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.P. Sandusky in this city Tuesday afternoon after an illness of several months. She had been in ill health for several years.

Mrs. Catron was a daughter of Joshua and Mary Saunders Kindrick, she was 53 years of age. On Feb. 1, 1893 she was married to the late O.S. Coffey, from which union one daughter, Mrs. C.P. Sandusky survives. On Nov. -, 1915 she was married to Senator John W. Catron, then of Albany, where they lived for a couple of years before moving to Danville.

The deceased was a member of the Baptist Church and was a splendid woman. Besides her husband and daughter, she is survived by one sister and one brother.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church by her pastor, Rev. Walker of Danville, after which the remains, followed by a large concourse of sorrowing friends were taken to the Elk Spring Cemetery for burial.
