Rhoda Abrams Martin age 67, wife of Lavonne Martin died Wednesday, April 7, 2010 in her home surrounded by her family.
Rhoda was born in Conway, SC, the daughter of Olivia L. Abrams and the late Delmus E. Abrams.
Surviving is her devoted husband of 52 years, Lavonne "Shorty" Martin; three sons, Dale Martin and wife Theresa of Myrtle Beach, David Martin of Walterboro and Donald Martin of Virginia; two sisters, Eugenia Polythriss and husband Tony of Pinehurst, NC and Victoria Dozier and husband Keith of Fredericksburg, VA; two brothers, Walter "Buddy" Abrams and wife Rebekka of Myrtle Beach and Steve Abrams and wife Gail of Myrtle Beach; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Tidelands Community Hospice, 2591 N. Fraser St. Georgetown, SC 29440. The family would like to thank Dr. William Jackson Epperson for his devotion and kindness through this difficult journey.
