Charles Noga of 127 Waverly St., died at 4:35 p.m. yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Carroll (Helen) Read, after a year's illness. He was 85.
Mr. Noga was born in Krakow, Poland Aug. 22, 1878 and had lived in Elyria 40 years. He was a retired employee of the old Cleveland-Southwestern Electric Railway and was a member of the Polish National Alliance.
His wife, Helen, died in 1946.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Sudro-Curtis Funeral Home. Dr. Charles W. Hamilton, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home tomorrow and Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
