Mrs. Stella Stalker, widow of Elwood Stalker, Equinunk, RD, Pa., died suddenly Thursday. April 9, 1953, in Los Angeles, Calif. She made her home recently with her daughter, Mrs. Dawn Gajeski. Deceased was born at Pine Mill, Pa., daughter of Charles Haines and Julia Blaes. Besides Mrs. Gajeski, there are three other daughters, Mrs. Eleanora Dunlock. Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Evelyn Rollison, Hankins, N. Y., and Mrs. Helen Cole of Lookout; nine grandchildren. The body was flown to Broome County airport, arriving Saturday morning at four o'clock. It was then brought to Tegeler's, Damascus. The funeral was held Sunday, April 12, at 2 p.m., from the Pine Mill Church where Rev. George Goodwin officiated. Burial in the family cemetery. Pallbearers were Edward Houghtaling, Atlee and Emery Teeple, Warner and Reuben Keesler, and Robert Macey.
