William D. Swift, 80, of Lyncourt, beloved husband, dad and grampa, joined his wife in eternal life with the Lord. He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Geraldine Geri F. Swift, who passed on March 20, 2010. He is survived by his devoted and loving daughter, Dale (Bruce) Wilson; his two cherished granddaughters, Victoria and Sara Wilson; a brother, Ward (Nancy) Swift; three sisters, Joan (Larry) Edwards, Carolyn (Dean) Shores and Connie (Jerry) Brenan; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 7 p.m. Thursday at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, before services. Burial will be private at Woodlawn Cemetery.
