"Followed Baby to the Grave; Mrs. McCool Died Four Hours After Infant Son"


From Tuesday's Daily . . . . Four hours after the burial of her infant son, Mrs. Janey Elizabeth McCool, who lived eight miles southeast of Pittsburg, died at her home at 2:15 yesterday afternoon. The funeral was held ths afternoon at 2:30 from the schoolhouse, and burial was in Black Jack Cemetery. Sam I. Smith conducted the ceremony.


Mrs. McCool was 23 years old and was born Feb. 24, 1893, at Nashville, Mo. She leaves a widower, Charles; two sons, Charles, Jr. and Donald; one daughter, Florence; a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tayfor of the vicinity of Opolis; one sister, La Verne Taylor; and seven brothers, Earl, Roy, Dee, Ray, Walter, Mont, and Gilbert. Mrs. McCool was reared near Opolis and was a member of the Methodist Church.
