MRS. CRONK DIES IN CALIFORNIA
HUSBAND LONG TIME IOW CHURCH HEAD
The body of Mrs. William F. Cronk, 78, formerly of 3205 Iola Avenue, who died Monday in Pomona, California, will drive in Des Moines tonight for burial.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Burial will be in Glendale.
Wife of Dr. Cronk
Mrs. Cronk was the wife of Dr. William Franklin Cronk, for 48 years a United Brethren Church minister in Iowa.
He retired three years ago after serving 26 years as state superintendent for the church.
Daughter in Hawaii
Mrs. Cronk is survived by her husband and four children, Mrs. Romanzo Adams of Honolulu, Hawaii; Mrs. T. G. Lewis, Mrs. C. L. Coon, and Anson M. Cronk, all of Des Moines.
With her husband, Mrs. Cronk spent the last year in California.

Burial will Be in Glendale Cemetery
Funeral services for Mrs. William Franklin Cronk, 77, of 3205 Iola Avenue, who died Monday in Pomona, California, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the United Brethren Church here. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.
The Re.v Ira A. Hawley of Muscatine, Iowa, state superintendent of the United Brethren Church and Rev. C. L. Young of St. Andrew’s Church will conduct the services. The body will be at the Harback Funeral Home until the time of the service.
Born in Illinois
Mrs. Cronk was born near Springfield, Illinois and moved to Iowa in 1865. She had been a resident of Iowa more than 60 years.
She was the wife of Dr. Cronk for 26 years state superintendent of the United Brethren Church.
Surviving are her husband and four children, Mrs. Romanzo Adams of Honolulu, Hawaii, Mrs. Tracy G. Lewis, Mrs. C. L. Coon, and Anson M. Cronk, all of Des Moines. Two sisters and a brother survive.
Pall bearers will be Charles e. Hoffman, Walter E. Burgess, John Saunders, Dr. Leonard Griffith, Harvey Day, and A. L. Hammarstedt.

Death of Mrs. Wm. F. Cronk
Herman Lewis received word the first of the week of the death of his grandmother, Mrs. Wm. F. Cronk, at Puente, California. Mrs. Cronk was raised in this county, and her husband, the Rev. Wm. F. Cronk was formerly a United Brethren pastor at Van Meter and conducted services in various parts of this county. She is survived by her husband, and a sister, Mrs. Arminda Ogburn. The body is being sent to Des Moines and funeral services will be held there Saturday. Mrs. Cronk was about 77 years of age.
