A St. Clair County Sheriff's deputy has died after collapsing at an East St. Louis train station.
Coroner Rick Stone says 55-year-old Lamont Reid was pronounced dead at an area hospital on Friday afternoon. No cause of death has been determined.
Reid had worked for the sheriff's department for 19 years. He was working his second job in security for MetroLink when he collapsed.
