Pauline was one of six Pollard children who served their country in World War II. Her brothers and sisters included Frances Clarene Pollard; Louise Pollard Causby; Ralph, Hicks, Carl, Everette, Hicks, Wayne, and Clyde (Sam). She served in the Army Air Corps and was active in the Women's Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 3552 in Palmdale.
Pauline was a longtime member of Palmdale Baptist Church.
She was survived by daughter Pamela Arnold, and by her brothers Clyde, Wayne, and Ralph Pollard; also by her sister Louise Pollard Causby;
