Benjamin Walker, aged about 64 years, died unexpectedly at his home on the State road at 1:45 o'clock Sunday morning. Mr. Walker had been ailing with heart trouble, but his condition was not such as to give alarm.
On Saturday evening he accompanied E.L. Moe to Burke Village, where he assisted Mr. Moe about the picture theater during the performance. They returned home shortly before 11 o'clock and some time later Mr. Walker was taken seriously ill. Dr. Goundry was summoned but Mr. Walker passed away soon after the arrival of the physician.
The deceased had been a resident of Burke for many years and was well and favorably known. He is survived by his widow, and one son, Harold.
