Services for Carroll C. Read Sr. 57 of 65 Colony Dr., 500 West Third St, will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Harold Dicken Funeral Home. The Rev. Stanley D. Wallace will officiate and burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.
Mr. Read died in the Ohio Valley General Hospital, Wheeling, W. Va., yesterday morning after a year-long illness.
An Elyria resident 45 years, Mr. Read was born in Plymouth, April 10, 1912. He was a tool maker at the LaGrange Screw Products Co. and a member of the Community United Methodist Church.
Friends may call at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
