HUGO, Okla. – Roy Dean Brandon, 65, of Fort Towson, Okla., died Sunday, April 4, 2010, in Dallas.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, at Corinth Baptist Church. Interment follows in Fort Towson Cemetery in Fort Towson, Okla. Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Visitation is to be from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 6.

He received the Army Commendation Medal in 1970 while serving with the 1st Calvary Division in Vietnam. He earned the award for heriosm in action while engaged in military operations against a hostile force in Vietnam.
