Funeral arrangements have been completed for Mrs Lucy Cole Stephens, 85, a former Darke County resident, whose death occurred Saturday at the home of a son, Leslie Cole, in West Manchester. She had been in failing health for the past year.
The body has been removed to the Miller Funeral Home, Greenville, where services will be conducted at 10 AM tommorrow. The Rev Earl Lantz will officiate. Burial will be in Sharpeye. Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of the services.
Mrs Stephens, who formerly lived in both Greenville and Dawn, was a member of the Greenville Church of Christ and Daughters of Union Veterans. She was also a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the Dawn Christian Church.
Surviving are two sons, Leslie Cole, of West Manchester, and Frank Cole, of East Liverpool, Ohio; five grandchildren; one great grandson; a sister, Mrs Bell Skidmore, of Boynton, Oklahoma.
Two husbands, William H Cole and Samuel David Stephens, preceded her in death.
