Theckla Breaux Trahan, 77, a native of Jeanerette and a resident of Baldwin, died Friday, September 21, 2007, at 2:25 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters, Court Sacre Coeur 2572.
Mrs. Trahan is survived by her son, Michael Trahan and his wife, Meryl, of Thibodaux; her daughter, Susan M. Trahan of Baldwin; one brother, L. J. Breaux III of Kiln, MS; one sister, Dorothy Breaux Davis of Franklin; two granddaughters, Danielle and Nichole Trahan; and one great grandson, Cole Michael.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira. John Trahan; and by her parents, Louis Breaux Jr. and Emily Martin Breaux.
