Her husband, Sam Pepper, preceded her in death a year ago. She had been a member of the Baptist Church since early childhood.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Sara Boyd and Ms. Etta Dark, Jonesboro, Mrs. Nita Wyatt and Mrs. Voile of Marshall, Texas; five sons, Elisha and Ross Pepper of Marshall, Texas, Walter and Floyd Pepper of Jonesboro and Grady of Illinois.
She also leaves three brothers, J. W. Campbell of Winnfield, Adam of West Monroe, and Jim of Epps; three sisters, Mrs. George Walker of Sikes, Mrs. Ella Burnett of Shreveport, and Mrs. Bara Jane Thompson, Bastrop.
