Oleta Parsons, daughter of Herbert "Hub" Parsons and Lena Virginia Cross, was born in Mt. Pleasant, Titus Co., Tx. She moved with her family to Jefferson, Tx. 1923 to attend the newly established Adventist school near Jefferson. While attending this school, she met and married Clyde Atkins Greenhill, son of Charles Cross and Ida Elizabeth Johnson Greenhill. Children: Audrey Maedean, Juanita Fern, Edith Marie and Robert Clyde.
