Wedding Notice: Brantford Weekly Expositor dated June 15 1905 on pg. 1 read: "Cronk - Hagey A quiet but pretty wedding took place at the home of Mr. & Mrs. George Cronk, 54 Pearl St. this afternoon when the eldest daughter Miss Nora Agnes became the bride of Mr. Harry L. Hagey of Eagle Place,formerly Preston. Rev. W.A.J. Martin officiated. A few immediate relatives were present and a tasty dinner was served after the ceremony. Mr. & Mrs. Hagey leave this afternoon on a wedding trip, and on their return will reside in Eagle Place.
Obituary states: "Eleventh child of Peter Hagey and youngest son. A charter member of Central Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Doric Lodge AF and AM, Harmony Lodge IOOF, the Brantford Shrine Club, a 32nd Degree member of the Scottish Rite, and a member of Mocha Temple, London. Mr. Hagey was the Manager at Gowman's Grocery on Terrace Hill in Brantford for many years; also manager of the LCBO Store for several years and then worked at Stainless Steel Products in Brantford prior to his retirement 5 years before his death." Pallbearers were: John Dickie (brother-in-law), W.J. McCormack (friend), Thomas Page (friend), Donald Hagey (grdson), Robert Cummings (cousin), Bart Montgomery (cousin)."
