Anita Joyce Wolf, 82, of Fort Morgan died Thursday, Sept.
11, in Denver.
Mrs. Wolf was born Aug. 29, 1926, in Hillrose to Joseph and Florence Howell. She was raised in Fort Morgan and later lived in Denver. Mrs. Wolf was a graduate of Colorado Women's College with a degree in journalism.
She was a member of Rainbow Girls in college.
She married Harold Henry Wolf on Nov. 25, 1948, in Fort Morgan.
Mrs. Wolf wrote for The Fort Morgan Times society column in 1946 and was an avid tennis player throughout life, a talented artist in painting, needlepoint and knitting, and a talented seamtress and clothesmaker/ designer. She also was a homemaker.
She is survived by her sons, Andrew Jay Wolfe of Littleton, Mitchell Alan Wolfe of Denver and Steven Tyler Wolfe of Issasqua, Wash.; a daughter, Dana Maree Pepper of Littleton; two brothers, Albert Howell and Dean Howell; five grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. Mrs. Wolf was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
No services will be held per Mrs. Wolf's request.
Internment will be held at Golden Cemetery in Golden.
