PANHANDLE (HC) - Funeral services for Walton C. Allen, 58, are pending at Poston Funeral Home here.
Allen died of an apparent heart attack at 3:50 p.m. Monday while at work at Metcalf Motor Co. where he was employed as shop foreman since 1943.
He was born Dec. 5, 1911 in Willow, Okla. and was married to Essie McLaughlin on Sept. 25, 1932 in Willow. They moved to Panhandle in 1943.
Survivors are his wife, Essie; three sons, Dale of Happy, Boyd of Amarillo, Joe of Panhandle; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Rawlins, White Deer; and Mrs. Joyce Morris, Panhandle; two brothers, John, of Higgins, Bowie, of Sayre, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Allen McLaughlin, Panhandle, Mrs. Orlow Mauldin, Las Cruces, N.M.; and ten grandchildren.
