Geraldine Lindberg Dodd, 88, of Sumiton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday March 31, 2010, at her residence. She was a member of Sumtion Church of God for 70 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eric Lingberg and Mae York Lindberg Cummings; father and mother-in-law, J.U. and Floy Mae Dodd; sisters-in-law, Beatrice Dodd Cantley and Bonnie Dodd McLaughlin; and brother-in-law, Harry Lee Ellis.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Howard J. Dodd; sons, Eddie Howard Dodd and his wife, Glenda Owens Dodd, and James Lee Dodd and his wife, Brenda McMillan Dodd; daughter, Judy Annette Stephenson and her husband, Dr. Devin Stephenson; grandchildren, Jonathan Howard Dodd and his wife, Tammie Cicero Dodd, Patrick Eddie Dodd and his wife, Brooke Davis Dodd, Jered Heath Dodd and his wife, Crystal Fowler Dodd, Jamie Leigh Dodd, Jon Dodd Stephenson and JuleAnne Grace Stephenson; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Camran Dodd, Cicely Noelle Dodd and Sarah Elizabeth Andrews; sisters, Betty Lindberg Ellis and Becky Cummings Higgins and her husband, Frank Higgins; several nieces, nephews and friends; and Glory Land Ministries Staff and Children and her church family at Sumiton Church of God.
