Dr. Kenoyer was sent as a missionary to Oregon in 1853, where, jointly with Rev. Curley, he became the founder of the Oregon conference of the United Brethren in Christ. Later, when he moved to Washington, he also became the founder of the Walla Walla conference of the same church. Interment was in Albion cemetery.
