SPRINGFIELD - Vicki Simmons, 59, died Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Candler Hospital.
The Garden City native was a longtime resident of Effingham County and worked as a Restaurant Manager for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Tidwell and Rosa Lee Calhoun.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy Simmons of Springfield; sons, Tony Simmons of Charleston, SC, Tracy Simmons of Whitemarsh Island, Jason Simmons, and Jonathon Simmons both of Springfield; sisters, Yvonne Olson of Nebraska, Yvette Brown of Faulkville, and Kathy Maddox of Savannah; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery Annex.
